The fabric of opportunity : Industry demand prompted the launch in 2010 of a specialised fair dedicated to the fabrics used for interior decoration. The success of the inaugural HKTDC Hong Kong International Home Textiles Fair proved this to be an inspired move, with the first edition of the fair featuring more than 240 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions. This turnout ensured that visitors could sample an extensive selection of fabrics and materials for interior decoration from around the world, including increasingly popular ranges of home textiles with an Asian touch.
The fair is in the strong position of being the only specialised trading platform for home textiles held during the peak buying season. With its distinctive atmosphere and quality merchandise at competitive prices, it’s no surprise that the inaugural event attracted more than 14,300 buyers from 114 countries and regions.
