Automatic Drapery Pleating Machine A sewing machine makes calculation, foldings, positioning and sewing to shape curtain pleats of triple, double and single crests. This automatic sewing machine is controlled by a PLC, so that even and precise results can be obtained at all times.
The pleats for completing a curtain can be sewn quickly and continuously in a fully -automatic process.Dimensions are calculated and the curtain is positioned automatically just by entering the original width, the required pleats style (number of tacks) and the number of desired pleats on to the LED screen.Pleats sewing and tucking patterns are programmable and can be changed as desired.We originally developped this type of machine (Curtain pleats tucker)in 1988, and more than 250 machines are in service now.

Because of our original SPEC for the sewing machine, needle foot is floated when it runs and sews, sewing gaps and puckerings are hard to happen regardless to the cloth thickness and materials.As it is equipped with a 'Thread Chain vacuum drawer', it helps start sewing for the thinnest cloth.The Laser Marker shows the line to set cloth ends and to fit patterns.The 'buckrum tape sewing' and the 'Return and Sew' functions are also equipped.The machine is placed in smaller space (about half) than the running belt type machines.The operater does not need to move so much around the machine and makes it easy for her to feed panels to the following process.
