Due to our extensive sourcing capabilities and our company owned and managed full service offshore production facility, we are able to provide our customers with competitive pricing.

Our quality program encompasses construction, fit, wash, and appearance. However, our attention to quality goes beyond the actual production of the garment. We feel that the presentation of the garment is just as important to its sales as the actual quality of the garment. Having worked with all the major retailers, we have gained an extensive knowledge of how an item should be presented in the stores to maximize sales.
Delivery
Our company takes great pride in our excellent history of on time delivery. Our philosophy is not to accept a program if we can not deliver it on time.
Service
We view every customer relationship as a partnership. If requested, we will manage the program by monitoring weekly sales at the size level. This enables us to make sure the stores are stocked with the right styles and sizes. If necessary, we can hold goods in one of our two company owned warehouses.
The apparel industry is constantly evolving as new styles, embellishments, and washes are introduced to the market. As a result, General's product line, production capabilities, fabric suppliers, and sourcing contacts, is always evolving with the current trends in the marketplace.
Cutting Capacity
Fivaro and Sincotex have 9 cutting tables totaling 580 Ft. Both cutting rooms have face to face and turntable spreading, as well as Gerber plotters. Combined cutting capacity is 156,000 units per week.
Fabric Warehouse
Fivaro and Sincotex's fabric warehouses can store up to a combined 4,000,000 yards of fabric.
Sewing Capacity
Fivaro and Sincotex have a combined total of 900 sewing machines with a capacity of 156,000 units per week.
Automatic Equipment
Automatic equipment in both facilities includes back pocket setters, welt pockets, belt loop setters, back pocket hemmers, label setters, and automatic top stitch hip seam machines.
Washing Capacity
Fivaro's modern laundry includes Braun programmable 800 lb. and 450 lb washer/extractors, Challenge Pace Setter 400 lb driers, and a waste water pre-treatment plant. Washes include Tinting, Stone Wash, and Enzyme Wash. Fivaro's washing capacity is 156,000 units per week.
State of the Art Finishing Processes
As fashion develops in the market, Fivaro's Sandblasting (hand & spray), Stenciling, Dip Dying, Grinding, and Tacking operations enables us to offer our customers the latest wet processing finishes.
Finishing Capcity
Fivaro's finishing unit is complete with vertical steam pressers, hand pressing, heat seal machines, polybag sealing machines, and flashing machines. Fivaro's finishing capacity is 156,000 units per week.
Distribution
General owns and operates two warehouses and distribution centers, which total 235,000 ft2, in Zebulon and Spring Hope, North Carolina
Total warehouse capacity is 5,000,000 units.
Total weekly shipping capacity is 150,000 units per week of pick and pack and 200,000 units per week of case pack.
In 2000, General upgraded its Distribution software to the Industry leading PKMS by Manhattan Associates and its ERP and Supply Chain Management Software to ACS Optima by Computer Generated Solutions.
General has its own IT and EDI Compliance Team in order to satisfy all our customer’s requirements in this ever changing environment.
